Matt began releasing his own style of alternative pop music with his debut EP ‘Leavenworth’ at the end of 2015. Followed by a series of single releases throughout 2016 and 2017, Matt began cultivating a niche following, along the way picking up a ‘2016 Artist of the Year’ title from music publication Anchor Music News and a ‘Top 50 Songs of the Year 2017’ title from indie blog The Guys From. Prior to his current project, Matt had spent his teens playing in several bands, eventually landing a recording deal with RCA/Sony as guitarist for pop group 2AM Club. After two album releases and extensive touring throughout North America with acts such as Mike Posner, Capitol Cities and Chiddy Band, Matt transitioned to his current self titled project - rooted in his guitar and singing styles and self-produced from his home studio outside of San Francisco, CA.
